Croissants
TKB 6: There’s Layers To This
Bread baking is one of the most rewarding things you can ever do in the kitchen. Ever since I had croissants in Montreal I’ve been wanting to make my own ever since. To be honest, making croissants was very intimidating at first. A process that takes nearly 24 hours to finish I was kind of nervous to make them. I just didn’t want to mess up towards the end of the process just to waste all the work I’ve done leading up to that point. So I scoured across the internet for a beginner friendly recipe and I found one from Natasha’s Kitchen. This recipe was very detailed and even shows pictures on how your croissants should look like each step of the process. A process that was long but rewarding. There are a few things in cooking that feels more rewarding than making your own bread. An item we just pick up from the store without realizing the hours of work put behind it. That being said after making croissants one time I’m just going to leave it to the professionals. Just remember the next time you pick up croissants from the grocery store just appreciate the hours of work put behind it, I sure did.

They look great!
